1. Who we are

Sirahan is operated by a private individual based in Norway. We run this listings website as a venue where buyers and sellers find each other. We are not a party to any transaction between users, and we don't take payment, hold goods, or guarantee any sale.

2. Who can use Sirahan

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sirahan. By using the site you confirm that you are.

3. Accounts

Accounts are tied to a phone number. You must be the rightful holder of the number you sign up with. You are responsible for activity on your account. If your phone is lost or transferred, contact us so we can secure the account.

4. Listing rules

• List only items you legally own or are authorised to sell or rent out.
• Use real photos of the actual item. Don't reuse photos from other listings.
• Describe the item accurately: condition, mileage, history.
• Don't list anything illegal under Somaliland law (stolen vehicles, prohibited goods, etc.).
• One listing per item. Mark sold or remove instead of re-posting.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting them, you give Sirahan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share that content for the purpose of running and promoting the marketplace. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. The licence ends when you remove the content, except for copies we must keep for legal or fraud-investigation reasons.

6. Behaviour

Treat other users with respect. We may suspend or ban accounts for harassment, fraud, repeated false reports, or other abuse, at our discretion.

7. Off-platform transactions

All money and goods change hands off-platform. We strongly recommend meeting in person, inspecting the item (or visiting the property), and verifying ownership documents before paying. Sirahan is not responsible for any loss in a transaction between users.

8. Property listings (land and houses)

Sirahan does not verify property ownership, boundaries, documents, or a landlord's right to rent out a property. Any documents or terms stated on a listing are provided by the seller or landlord and are not checked by us. Before paying for a property, or paying any rent or deposit, confirm the documents, boundaries, and terms independently: in person or through a trusted local agent (wakiil). We are not responsible for losses in a property transaction between users.

9. Content we may remove

We may hide or remove any listing that we believe violates these terms, has been flagged by users, or harms the marketplace, without prior notice.

10. No warranty and limitation of liability

Sirahan is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that listings are accurate, that sellers or buyers are who they say they are, or that the site will always be available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a transaction or dealing between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, and any dispute will be handled by the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory law where you live gives you other rights.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Sirahan after an update means you accept the new terms.
